The Calle Sierpes is one of the most famous shopping streets in Seville, Spain, and is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to indulge in a little retail therapy! This bustling pedestrianized street is located in the historic center of Seville and is lined with a wide variety of shops, from high-end stores, 4 Zaras across from each other ( and they all have different pieces so you can get it all), boutiques to artisan workshops selling traditional handicrafts. The street is also home to several historic buildings, including the ornate Casa Palacio de los Marqueses de La Algaba. Pro tip when shopping in Europe in general, as an American citizen shopping in Europe, you may be eligible for a VAT (Value Added Tax) refund when leaving the European Union (EU). VAT is a tax that is added to the price of goods and services in the EU, and the refund policy allows non-EU residents to claim back some of the tax they paid on purchases made during their visit to Europe. It's an annoying step, but so worth it!

TRIANA MARKET

LA PLAZA DE ESPAÑA

LA GIRALDA & LA CATEDRAL DE SEVILLA

ROYAL ALCÁZAR OF SEVILLE

The Alcázar of Seville is a stunning royal palace located in the heart of Seville, Spain. Originally constructed during the 10th century, resulting in a unique blend of architectural styles, from Islamic to Gothic and Renaissance. A little fun fact about the Alcázar is that it was used as a filming location for the popular HBO series "Game of Thrones." The most recent time I went was after finishing Game of Thrones (which quickly became my fave show) and saw it from a totally new perspective!

LA FERIA DE ABRIL

La Feria de Abril, or April Fair, is one of Seville's most popular annual events, held in the Andalusian capital in the springtime. This colorful celebration, which takes place two weeks after Easter Sunday, brings together locals and visitors for a week of festivities, food, and dancing. One of the highlights of the Feria is the traditional Andalusian dress worn by many women and men, with women donning flamenco-style dresses in bright colors and men wearing suits with wide-brimmed hats. Visitors are encouraged to dress in traditional attire, adding to the festive atmosphere of the event! Knowing how to dance flamenco is a necessity when attending La Feria!
