Mixology Clothing Company is honored to be featured in the Long Island Herald for hosting an immersive Work Based Learning experience at our Oceanside location. Students from a variety of academic tracks explored merchandising, purchasing, marketing, social media, and e-commerce, gaining a real understanding of how different parts of the fashion business connect.
Students were also introduced to MixU, our six week summer program designed to help young people build industry knowledge through hands-on lessons led by fashion professionals. Throughout the day, they engaged with our team, asked thoughtful questions, and discovered how their individual talents and interests could translate into future career opportunities within fashion and retail.
The feature highlighted the positive impact of the experience and the enthusiasm shared by both students and staff. We are proud to support opportunities that inspire and educate the next generation, and we look forward to continuing to partner with schools and community programs to provide meaningful behind the scenes industry experiences.
