A Good Story

When everything changes, we invest in the things that always stay the same.  Good people.  Good values. Good experiences. Good decisions. Good clothing.

 

It began this way in 2002, when a 13-year-old girl met good people and Mixology was seeded. The 2008 recession changed fashion retail.  Good people invested in the good values that never change.  One location turned into three.  Three turned into six.

 

Hurricane Sandy devastated the Northeast in 2012.  Long Island, the center of the Mixology family, was hit especially hard.  Many of our good people lost everything they had.  We could not let them lose hope and confidence in themselves and in the future.  With a little good business acumen, and lots of good luck, Mixology reopened with two fewer locations, doubling revenue in only eight months.

 

The global COVID-19 epidemic changed everything.  The world mourned. Humanity was at a standstill.  That which was, was suddenly no longer.
